INTERNATIONAL ATTORNEY EXCHANGE PROGRAM

​Our International Attorney Exchange Program is largely directed to patent attorneys from Europe and any part of Asia.

 

Our training program is primarily one-on-one teaching of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rules of practice, claim drafting, basic U.S. Supreme Court and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit patent law.  Our program is designed as preparation for the U.S. Patent Agent Exam (U.S. Patent Bar) which is given by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  Trainees typically come to our office for one to two years to study, to improve their English, to assist in prosecution of patent applications from their companies or offices, to take the U.S. Patent Agent Exam, and more broadly, to hopefully get a positive impression of their stay in America.
