ELSA MEHDIZADEH, ESQ.
Elsa’s law practice involves client representation and counseling on Intellectual Property matters, development of patent, trademark and/or copyright portfolios for clients; and Advertising Law.
Elsa was born in France and grew up there, later obtaining a law degree from the University of Toulouse in South of France. Due to her mother’s diplomatic post with the French government, Elsa has traveled and lived in continents including Asia, Europe and the Middle East, before embarking on a legal career. In law school, Elsa was drawn to International Law. She studied at the University of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium and obtained her Masters degree in International Law from University of Toulouse. Having completed her Master’s in Europe, Elsa then moved to the U.S. and completed an LL.M. in International Law from Stetson University College of Law. She then moved to NY and passed the NY State Bar and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
Prior to joining FALATI, Elsa worked for a corporate law firm in Miami specializing in International Business law, assisting clients on contracts, compliance and regulatory matters; and interned with the Pan American Health Organization, an organization of the United Nations. Elsa can speak four languages and has a Special University degree from the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Paris.
At FALATI, Elsa independently assists clients in the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent and trademark applications; she also counsels clients on copyright issues that arise especially for internet-driven businesses. Elsa takes instruction from members of the firm occasionally and draws from her extensive international background and legal accumen to assist clients as an independent lawyer and part of the FALATI Management Consulting Group (FMCG).
