joni zucker, Esq.

Joni’s law practice at FALATI involves client representation and counseling on Intellectual Property Law, Advertising and Marketing Law matters, as well as certain matters related to the social media and entertainment industries.  She is an admitted attorney of the New York bar. 

 

Joni attended Albany Law School on a full scholarship, graduating magna cum laude. Her studies focused on Intellectual Property law. Prior to Albany Law School, she received a perfect score on her SAT (a rare feat less than 1% of test takers achieve) and attended University of Chicago and SUNY University at Albany, where she graduated cum laude and received her BA in Art, with a concentration in drawing and painting.

She has previously been a summer associate at Hoguet Newman Regal and Kenney, where she worked on litigation matters concerning employment discrimination, among others. She also worked at Ritholz Levy Fields as a summer associate and law clerk through her final year of law school, where she was involved in transactional entertainment law, particularly representing production companies in the creation of television programming.

 

At FALATI, Joni assists clients in the drafting, filing and prosecution of trademark and patent applications. She also counsels clients on copyright and contractual issues that arise, especially for famous personalities and internet-driven businesses. 

 

Joni takes instruction from members of the firm occasionally, drawing from her prior work experience and independently working to represent famous personalities, social media influencers, and other entertainment-related clients and those seeking Intellectual Property related and contractual legal counsel. Joni utilizes her background in the arts in counseling all manner of content creators in their creative pursuits.
