FALATI provides a range of IP services as outlined in our University Practice Group section.  We aim to assist Technology Transfer Offices of Universities around the globe to capitalize on ongoing research at their institution with the aim of generating revenue for the University.  

 

Our attorneys have vast experience representing Universities and taking instruction from Technology Transfer Office personnel and work well with professors and laboratory members who have invented to further the University's interests.  Our attorneys have experience representing several prominant large Universities on the East Coast of the U.S. and a number of Universities outside of the U.S. on their patent drafting and prosecution matters, and related agreement undertakings.

 

Our attorneys at FALATI work with inventors at Universities and counsel on Patent Prosecution and Portfolio Development, and related Legal Opinion services such as Non-Infringement, invalidity and/or Freedom to Operate clearance opinions.  As we carefully develop and mature your national / international Intellectual Property portfolio, we are able to provide a full range of other services as and when required (see Services), including the necessary Agreements/Contracts that are necessary during the technology development process, Management Consulting and Commercialization related services, and services related to Transactions, Licensing & Technology Transfer agreements.  Lastly, we have active patent litigation experience, and have represented certain new companies on litigation matters in Federal Court.  We are also able to take on full contingency patent litigation cases on certain patents.
